Motorcycle racing at Willow Springs

A few shots from Willow Springs racetrack from California. A friend of mine talked me into coming down with him to watch him race so I brought the camera. It was hot. Hot, hot, hot, hot. Next time I'll bring a hat for both me and the Canon.

CounterStrike teaser online now

My editor Bulent has put a version of the CounterStrike teaser I did with Jon Funk and Dale Floyd up on Youtube.
The evolution of the project is a long story, but we are still looking to get the feature into production under a different title.

You can check it out here:

Cape Town, South Africa!

As many of my colleagues know, I disappeared to Cape Town, South Africa, for a month last spring. I spent a lot of free time shooting still. I'd love to share a few of my favorite photos with you now.

Canon 20d - Canon 28-135mm IS

Yeah, just another boring Cape Town sunset....

Part of the 12 Disciples mountain range, shrouded in fog.

Another ghastly sunset... how did I survive?

The following photo took some work, as you might imagine. It's the result of 3 hours of sitting on a patio firing off long exposures with the Sigma 50-500 pointed out at the horizon. About 200 shots resulted several choice photos, my favorite being this:

And here's me!

Video Producer Article Online

A link to my Independent Video Producer article:

"In forming a video production company, most entrepreneurs seem to spend far too much time worrying about having the best camera, the most current editing equipment and the flashiest business cards. Most people also seem to find themselves out of business a few years down the road. If they learned more about the actual business of video production before spending a penny on it, success would come much more readily. "
